"Research and Teaching: A Collaborative Process"
October 28th, 29th and 30th, 2010
Sheraton Centre Toronto
The 37th TESL Ontario Conference is still fresh in our memories but plans for this year's event are well underway. This year's theme, "Research and Teaching: A Collaborative Process" promises to provide delegates from all sectors a wealth of information to further enrich their professional development. While the research symposia have long been a part of our conferences, this year we are aiming to help you make the connection between what's happening in the way of research and what implications that might have on how and what you teach. There are still many details to work outworking on final details, but we can promise you won't be disappointed when you see the program. Once again we will be welcomed by the accommodating team at Sheraton Centre Toronto, so save the date: October 28, 29, and 30, 2010.
Again I remind you to consider sharing your experience and expertise with your peers by volunteering to present at the conference. There are a variety of formats and time options, including poster sessions which we are introducing this year. You can check out the details at the call for presentations to see how you can contribute to the success of our conference.
If you haven't already done so, be sure to check out the photo gallery from last year's conference at http://teslon.org/galleries09.html. And you are sure to find something of interest in the 50 hours of webcasting that's available at http://www.teslontario.virtualevents.ca/dynamicintro.html.
Watch for more details in the coming weeks.
